EASTSIDE KIDS
ENVIRONMENTAL INSTALL
Years ago I met with the team at Eastside Community Church and helped them develop their kids ministry branding. We picked out fonts, colors and created custom illustrations for them. Eastside has been a mobile church for a while. Fast forward a few years, and God provided them with a new space. The team at Eastside then reached out to me to help implement their brand into this new space. After months of meetings, sketches, revisions, mockups, and in-person consults we put together a plan and installed a whole new space for their kids' ministry.

PEGBOARD DISPLAY
The team at Eastside Kids asked for a place to easily display resources and information about upcoming events. Adam, from The Bold Type and I collaborated to design this beautiful three-piece pegboard display, featuring multicolored shelves that were laser-cut and mounted to the wall with a French Cleat system. We also added a laser-cut wooden sign hand-painted to match the brand colors.
ILLUSTRATED TIMELINE WALL
After months of sketches, illustration passes and computer revisions, it was amazing to finally see this Biblical timeline large and in person superimposed on the walls of this kids ministry space. We printed the timeline on large sheets of vinyl over 15 feet each and adhered them to the wall.
SKETCH PROCESS
At the beginning stages of this project I met with the team at Eastside Community Church and dreamed together to help bring their vision of a Biblical timeline to life. Another early step in the creative process is to do some very rough sketches in Adobe Fresco on the iPad to get a feel for the designs knowing that the next step is bringing the illustrations into Adobe Illustrator which covers a multitude of sins. :)
